The Stanwood-Camano Kiwanis Club has selected sophomore Isabella Christiansen at Stanwood High School as its Student of the Month for September 2026.

Show runs Nov. 6, 7, 13, and 14. Tickets ($7 general / $6 with ASB) are available on GoFan or at the door.

Picture retake day is Tuesday, October 27. If you are getting a retake, make sure to bring your original picture packet to turn in. Photos are for the yearbook and ID/ASB cards, which will be printed on-site. 

Student school photos are available to view and order online. If your student missed picture day or needs a retake, mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 27. Students getting retakes must bring their original picture packet to hand directly to the photographer.

Lunch detentions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 241, while after-school detentions take place on Tuesdays in Room 251. Assigned detentions must be served immediately to ensure students remain eligible to attend school-sponsored events, dances, and athletic activities.

Parents must submit a completed FERPA form to the counseling office by Friday, Sept. 18 if they wish to restrict the release of student directory information. Families should review this form carefully, as checking the "Local" privacy option will exclude their student from the school yearbook.

Parking along curbs or beside designated spots can block travel lanes and make it difficult for emergency vehicles to get through when they’re needed most. Also, avoid waiting in the student parking lot as this lot is reserved for student drivers. Please keep these areas clear. Instead, use the main parent loop for pick-up and drop-off.

SHS will host the PSAT on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Interested juniors can register now in the main office. The cost is $40. Sign-up deadline is 7:35 AM on Friday, October 2.
