Drama club is a social club that is separate from the after school productions. We see plays, have parties, play games, and promote theatre at our school. Free to join!

Hi-Q is a competitive academic team that competes against other schools quizzing on current events, history, science, Shakespeare, literature and sports.  Our team finished third in state last year and look forward to another great season.  If interested about joining please see Mr. Cunningham in room 342.  Tryouts will begin first week of October.

SHS Jesus Club strives to spread the gospel and the teachings of Jesus. Our student-led meetings consist of worship, scripture studies, and sermons. We aim to spread love and compassion to all students at Stanwood High.

Do you know Trivia?! Knowledge Bowl is a great way to have fun and show what you know. Questions can range from Science, Literature, Pop Culture, Geography, you name it! Students who participate the whole season may earn a SHS Letter.

Our Link Crew leaders are juniors and seniors that work with our freshmen during the freshmen orientation. In the spring, potential leaders are nominated by the staff. Nominated students are given the opportunity to apply to be a Link Crew leader.

Math Help Club is a group of students who are willing to help others with math. This could be helping peers at our monthly Math Nights or volunteering at elementary schools as needed. Talk to you math teacher about being added to our Google Classroom!

The National English Honor Society (NEHS) is all about celebrating students who love English, whether it's through reading, writing, drama, or film. It's a chance to connect with others who share your passion and make a real impact in your school and community. Join us to take your love for English to the next level and be recognized for your hard work!

Unveiled over a century ago, the National Honor Society enshrines four pillars at its heart: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. More than mere badges of honor for NHS members, these principles are transformative keys that unlock potential, enhancing every student’s educational journey, and ultimately empowering them to make profound, enduring contributions to our world.  Members are of service to the SHS community as well as the greater community.

The Powerlifting Club trains for competitions that start around January. You compete against athletes in same weight class. Weight Classes:

The Student Legislature is called our “Student Senate.” Each class, club or team elects up to (2) students to attend meetings. Representatives bring feedback, questions and suggestions to ASB, and then report back to 2nd period. Members are required to obtain an ASB card.

When: Meetings are once per month (First Friday) in the PAC during Advisory.

TSA (Technology Student Association)
