TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SHS STUDENTS

WIAA PHILOSOPHY OF THE OUT-OF-SEASON REGULATIONS: The out-of-season regulations are established to limit the involvement of the school and school coach to the WIAA designated season, thereby providing student athletes the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities during the school year and ensuring that each school has an equal opportunity to provide fair competition.

Spartan Summer Training  (June 1 - July 31)

WIAA PHILOSOPHY OF SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Students may be afforded the opportunity to participate in activities during the summer if they so choose. Students should also be provided with an opportunity to participate with their families during the summer or simply take a break from sports prior to the start of fall sports turnouts. Limiting participation during the month of August for fall sports athletes helps to ensure that all students begin the fall sports season on an equal basis.

* Open to all enrolled SHS students; must be cleared through Final Forms. Registration for 2026-27 Sports opens on May 31, 2026.

SPORTS CAMPS & CLINICS AT SHS

You are invited to join us this summer at Stanwood High School! Sports Camps are the perfect way to build skills, meet friends, stay active, and have FUN all summer long. 

  • Open to a variety of ages and skill levels
  • Led by SHS coaches and athletes
  • Great way to connect with current and future Spartan teammates!

    • Includes: Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Sport-Specific Inherent Risk            
  • Registration for Volleyball, Track-Throws, Cheer, Football & Girls Basketball is all online through GoFan.
    • These are SHS ASB Fundraisers. 
    • Campers will pay online at the time of registration.                                               
  • Registration for Boys Basketball & Baseball is through the SHS Booster Club. 
    • These are SHS Booster Club Fundraisers.

SHS BOOSTER CLUB FUNDRAISERS

JUNE 24-25: SHS Booster Club presents: Boys Basketball Camp

  • 9:00am-12:00pm, entering 2-8th grade
  • $50 per person, $75 for 2+ siblings, $90 for 3+ in a family
  • Registration through SHSBC, includes camp t-shirt

JULY 1-2, 2026: SHS Booster Club presents: Baseball Camp

  • 9-11:00am, entering 3-5th grade
  • 12-2:00pm, entering 6-8th grade
  • $50 Registration through SHSBC, includes camp t-shirt
  • Participants must have at least beginner level baseball experience, for safety.  Please bring a glove, bat & helmet; no metal spikes allowed.
