Graduation photos update

We’re pleased to let you know that professional photographer Juan Stout of JRS Photography will be on-site to capture student photos as they receive their diplomas.

Families can get a head start by setting up access to their student’s photos in advance. This will make it easier to view and purchase images once they are available.

Please note: The school district will not receive or store these graduation photos. If you have questions about photos, orders, or access, you will need to contact the photographer directly.

As a reminder, parents/guardians will not be allowed on the field during the ceremony. Designated photo areas will still be available on both sides of the field for families to take photos.

We’re excited to offer this opportunity and appreciate your flexibility as plans came together.

Fees and Fines: 

Senior Fines

Please pay any outstanding fines or fees. All balances must be paid in full to receive graduation tickets.

Parents - you can view fines by logging into Intouch. Unpaid items appear in red at the top, where details can also be viewed. Payments can be made online or at the ASB window (cash/check).

If you can’t access Intouch, you or your student can contact Mrs. Burton in the front office for a printed statement.

Students - for any overdue books or tech, please check the email the Librarian sent the week of March 16th. For related questions, visit Ms. Byrum in the Library (Monday–Wednesday). For questions related to Food Service Balance, don't hesitate to get in touch with Michelle Huntley at the District Office: 360-629-1200 x. 3560

Additional items to note for Graduation:

Balloons at Graduation: To ensure that all of our guests can fully enjoy the Graduation ceremony, we will not allow balloons in the Stadium this year. If you bring a balloon or balloon bouquet to the gate, you will be asked to return it to your car until after the ceremony.

Graduation Supplies and ordering:

  • August 18th - 8:00 am to 10:30 am Senior Only Purchase Time for ASB, parking permits, and yearbooks
  • August 19th - 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm All Grades purchase days for ASB, parking permits, and yearbooks
  • Sept 3rd - first day of school for 10th, 11th and 12th
  • Sept 4th - Senior Sunrise, 6:20 am at Larson Stadium
  • Oct 10th - Senior Yearbook pictures due
  • Oct 28th - Class meeting with Jostens/Senior Picture 5th/6th period 
  • Nov 12th - Grad Ads due 
  • Jan 5th - SCAF Presentation during Advisory 
  • Jan 31st - LAST DAY TO PURCHASE YEARBOOKS
  • Feb 1st - SCAF Senior Scholarship Application Period Opens
  • Feb TBA- FAFSA & Scholarship Help 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the SHS Library 
  • March 9TH - SCAF Senior Scholarship Applications Due (by midnight)
  • March 25th - Senior Memory and Dessert Night 6:30 - 7:30 in the Commons 
  • May 8th - Senior Prom, 7-10 pm
  • May 8th - SCAF Scholarship Night Invites mailed out (tickets enclosed), RSVP by May 19th
  • May 6th - Josten's Cap and Gown Pick Up 8:30 - 2 pm in PAC Lobby
  • May 14th - College & Career Signing Night,  6-8 pm 
  • May 18th - Celebration of Excellence,  6:00 pm in the PAC (by invitation only)
  • May 26th - SCAF Scholarship Night,  6:30-8:30 pm in the PAC (by invitation only)
  • June 1st - Spartan Athletic Awards Night
  • June 2nd- Senior Parade, begins at 5:30 pm downtown, *not an SHS event 
  • June 4th - Senior Check Out: Seniors receive graduation tickets during 6th period after checking in Chromebooks, being signed off by teachers, and paying any fines. Student fees & fines must be paid to receive Graduation tickets. Please note: 12 total tickets, 5 to use inside OR outside, and 7 that are outside only.
  • June 4th - Baccalaureate, doors open at 6 pm, begins at 6:30 pm *not an SHS event
  • June 4th - Senior Sunset,  7:30-9 pm at the AUX Field 
  • June 5th - Mandatory Graduation practice, 7:45 am in the SHS Gym 
  • June 5th - "Roots to Wings" elementary walks. INFO 
  • June 5th - SHS Graduation,  7 pm - Bob Larson Stadium
  • June 5th - Grad Night: following graduation - please contact SHS Grad Night 2026
  • June 9th - LHHS Graduation
  • June 8th-12th & 15th-16th - DIPLOMA PICK UP, 8-10 am & 1-2:45 pm | There will be NO summer pick up dates for Diplomas.
  • July 7th - Final transcripts to be sent out (Final transcripts for NCAA will be uploaded this day as well.)

FINAL TRANSCRIPT INFORMATION

SENIORS, FINAL TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE MAILED OUT TO COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES ON JULY 7TH.  PLEASE FILL OUT THIS GOOGLE FORM WITH THE NECESSARY INFORMATION BY JUNE 30TH USING YOUR SCHOOL EMAIL IF YOU KNOW WHICH SCHOOL YOU WILL BE ATTENDING, SO THAT THIS CAN BE DONE FOR YOU.  After June 30th, please follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS to request your transcript.

BE SURE TO READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM.
