The main office will open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday.  Please enter from the front entrance on 272nd St. NW. 
We are accepting money for all student fees and fines at this time until 2:45 pm Monday-Friday.

**PLEASE BRING PHOTO ID, PENCILS & CALCULATOR FOR THE PSAT TEST.  ARRIVE BETWEEN 7:30 - 8:00 AM THIS SATURDAY MORNING.  TEST BEGINS AT 8:00 AM.  ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE BY THE OFFICE.**


On Monday, October 18th, we will discontinue with the early 3 minute tone at the end of each class period.  Students will remain in class until the bell rings.  No students will leave class early.  The exception to this is at the end of 6th period.  Seniors and any student who rides a bus in the first line up will still leave a few minutes early from class.

Attention Seniors:
If you want to be in the Senior picture for the yearbook you must get you picture taken for an ID/ASB card. Your have one more chance, next Tuesday Oct. 19 be sure to get your picture taken for your card and to be in the Senior picture.

Do you like to read, write, and participate in other types of literary activities? If so, consider joining the National English Honor Society. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 14th after school in Room 306. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and have completed two semesters of English at Stanwood High School to become a member. We hope to see you on Thursday! If you can’t attend the meeting, see Mrs. Ware in Room 309 or Ms. Trethewey in Room 306 if you’re interested in joining NEHS.



SPORTS

"Last night our Spartan Cross country teams went to Arlington to race against Arlington, Shorecrest, Shorewood, and Archbishop Murphy. Our runners put up great times. In the Boys race Wouter(Vout) Van Veen took 12th and Owen Palmer took 13th. In the girls race our team tied for first with Arlington but lost in the tie breaker, earning 2nd overall. Leia Jones took 1st, Lael ten Hoopen took 4th, Kate Bladek took 6th, and Mary Wilson took 10th! Great job Spartans! You can catch our league championship race next Saturday in Arlington!"
